About Aria Anime
ARIA is science fiction and slice of life story created by Kozue Amano. While ARIA itself has its own manga and anime version, AriaAnime.com suggests you to watch the anime version first, and then try to read the manga. AriaAnime.com does even suggest you to watch the DVD version because the difference in graphic matters in ARIA anime, but you make the call.
ARIA takes place in a distant future (around 400 years from now, exactly year 2400+) when humans are so advanced that they could land on Mars and live on there normally. Once was an inhabitable planet, Mars was terraformed and its name is changed into Aqua, because of its vast ocean. And in this “new” planet, human starts to colonialize it, bringing their own cultures from Earth/Manhome into Aqua.
The story itself chooses Neo Venezia, a city on Aqua that’s based on Manhome’s Venice, as its settings. While ARIA itself solely revolves around the story of young woman from Manhome, Akari Mizunashi, that come to this city to become an gondola undine. As we follow her career life, Akari also presents us her adventures and daily lifes in this new planet, Aqua. Of course too bad the story also ends after she reaches the top of her career…
Enjoying the Anime
There are at least 52 episodes of ARIA Anime out here, excluding the OVA, tv specials, dvd specials, etc. So you do not have to hurry; ARIA is the anime best enjoyed slowly. Actually, there is no particular order in the anime version, except if you watch the last 3 episodes of the last season directly, so you can enjoy the anime by even start watching from middle. Ignore those who tell you to watch from the start, there is just no particular order on how a people should enjoy a slice of life anime series, unless you do it in an extreme way (like AriaAnime.com suggests before, don’t watch the last 3 episodes of the last season directly!).
If you have finally decided to watch the anime from AriaAnime.com’s watching portal, we can suggest you what and which one to watch first (but the call is still yours). First of the season is Aria the Animation and then it continues to Aria the Natural, and ends at Aria the Origination. That doesn’t mean you must watch them in order; You could in fact first watch the first to third episode of Aria the Animation, and then you can mix watch between fourth to thirteeth episode of Aria the Animation and first to fifteeth episode of Aria the Natural, and then you might want to watch sixteeth to eighteeth episode of Aria the Natural in order and then continue mix watching episode nineteen of Aria the Natural to the Aria - Arietta - and then onwards continue mix watching to episode nine of Aria the Origination, the rest you will have to follow them in order.
Now, prepare your lunch/dinner, select an episode of ARIA anime, and then enjoy your food while watching the ARIA! Remember to mark down your favorite episode, because you might want to come back and watch it again when you are eating. You can even download the anime episode if you want, resize it, and put it in your smartphone! The only thing you shouldn’t do to enjoy this series is: watching whole series in one night.
Reading the Manga
While the ARIA manga and anime has the same storyline, they have significant difference. Most people like tha manga version more, but AriaAnime.com does always prefer the anime version. Well, manga version has its own way of story telling; they ommit some of the characters, offers more detail to the story, and of course it is not colorful.
The manga version also gives your more detailed prologue to the story, in which the anime fails to deliver, in AQUA series. Ya, there is AQUA manga and there is ARIA manga! They are both kind of same, just that ARIA manga is supposed to be called AQUA, but they change it to ARIA. AriaAnime.com suggest you to first read the AQUA manga before you read the ARIA manga, since the anime has covered most of the ARIA manga part.
So should you read all of the ARIA manga? The answer is up to you. Basically you are done with the anime version, but we know that there are a lot of people out there complains that Aria the Origination is just over too fast. Of course there are actually more to the story in between episode 10 and episode 13 of Aria the Origination that you can only find in the 2 last volume of ARIA manga; So, go buy or download the last two volumes of ARIA manga if you really want to know more about the story in between. But of course there is no much difference in how the anime and the manga ends.
What About Other ARIA Products?
There are a lot of other ARIA products! Starting from PS2 game of ARIA, monthly undine magazine, the poster premium book, calendar, teacup, and so on and so on; they even have Akari Mizunashi towel for sale! Actually, we do not have a lot of stuffs to say because the most we have with us is the calendar and the Akari Mizunashi action figure…, so buy them at your own risk. Guess if you are a really big fans of ARIA, then you should buy them all. But if you are just enchanted by the beauty of the graphic and art, then you should just think about buying the premium poster.
One thing we have to say though: the quality of their product is to notch!
So, What is AriaAnime.com?
AriaAnime.com is as simple as a place where we share the uploaded Aria anime episodes through out the internet. Though some of the episodes here are not uploaded by us, some are, so please report us if you find some dead links. Well, our job is not finished there, we also resize the video resolution to the one that we believe will bring the most watching enjoyment for you (on free streaming scale).
Anyway, this site is created to tell people more about this anime. If you are a big fans of ARIA anime or an anime hardcore, ARIA is already popular for you. But if you think ARIA is popular to common anime watcher too, you are definitely wrong! That’s the reason why this site is here. We do still suggest you (like before) to get the real dvd! It will support the producer too.
So, welcome and enjoy watching.
